The National Policy is founded to play a role of an Internet media platform, gathering elite around the world to discuss and comment the country’s policy and events worldwide. Different ideas and values will form diversification of the platform, where scholars, politicians, commentators and policy observers meet under the magazine’s fundamental tenets.
Today, many countries, such as China, Russia, Iran, the USA, UK and Europe assess and act upon their own perceived national interests, New Zealand must attempt to understand those nations as they understand themselves. The National Policy seeks to promote a fresh debate about the course of region’s national and foreign policy by featuring a variety of leading authors from government, journalism, and academia, many of whom may at times disagree with each other. But it is only out of such disagreements that dogmas can be dispelled and clarity about our proper aims achieved. The National Policy seeks to serve this country’s wider national interest.
